The National Enquirer has let the cat out of the bag. Brittany Murphy’s husband, producer Simon Monjack is in the U.S. illegally!
Brittany and Simon just married earlier this month, and it appears that Monjack could be facing deportation. Not only is Simon in the country illegally, but, according to the tabloid, Monjack has a civil suit pending against him, as well as several outstanding felony arrest warrants.
Sounds like Brittany Murphy didn’t make a wise choice in husbands. Monjack was also arrested in March at Brittany’s home in March.
Damn illegals.

It’s about time Simon Monjack – con artist and thief – was stopped. So sad that it had to happen to Brittany, but this should help her annul the marriage.
The guy also cannot direct, he has directed one movie and it was “what a mess” accoring to the bbc…it was never shown anywhere and Monjack lost all the money:

Now he’s going to face murder charges. He drugged the girl and may have killed her, according to tabloid news accounts.
