Tatiana Blatnik is Prince Nikolaos’ Wife

August 26, 2010

Tatiana Blatnik is Prince Nikolaos’ wife. The couple married on Wednesday in Spetses, Greece. Check out their wedding pictures and read more about here here.

Prince Nikolaos of Greece has married! The gorgeous Tatiana Blatnik and her prince were wed in a royal ceremony at the Cathedral of Ayios Nikolaos in Spetses, Greece.

We have a gallery of wedding photos below for you to enjoy. It looks like it was quite the affair! There is nothing like a royal wedding!

As for who was in attendance, the AP reports,

“The Greek Orthodox service was attended by Spanish Queen Sofia — Constantine’s sister — Crown Prince Felipe and his wife, Letizia. Members of royal families from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands also were present.”

Though the monarchy in Greece was done away with in the 70’s, former King Constantine and his family still use the titles.
Blatnik wore a lace like gown with a crown, while the Prince wore a white collared shirt and a blue tie. Tatiana arrived at the Church of St. Nicholas in a horse drawn carriage, while her Prince arrived by boat.

As for a biography on Tatiana Blatnik – we know this: She was born on May 4, 1976 making her 34. She announced her engagement to the Prince on December 28, 2009. She works as an events planner for Diane von Furstenberg.

I wonder if that is who designed her beautiful wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses? The bridesmaids dresses were absolutely stunning, but a little over the top for my taste. You can see them here. They sure do look like mermaids!

All in all it looks like it was a dream wedding! I wish them a lifetime of happiness!
