What we do know is that Paula Cook reportedly filed for divorce last week from her husband. In the court documents she alleges a Fantasia affair with Antwaun Cook, something that has been more or less confirmed by the singer’s spokesperson. She has filed for full custody of their children in the divorce lawsuit.
The statement says that Fantasia believed that Cook was separating from his wife. He loved him and believed that Cook was in love with her. You know men will say just about anything to get inside a woman’s skirt.
Here are some excerpts from the statement:
– believed Mr. Cook when he told her he was not happy in his marriage and his heart was not in it. She believed him when he told her he and Mrs. Cook separated in the late summer of 2009. She believed Mr. Cook when he told her he lived elsewhere. He even took her there. One of Mr. Cook’s most redeeming qualities was his complete devotion to his children.

her.– dated on and off for about eleven months. The pressure of the constant media attention was hard on their relationship. Fantasia gave inconsistent interviews about the status of her relationship with Mr. Cook because sometimes they were on and sometimes they were off. I believe her honesty. Fantasia was one of the sweetest American Idol singers ever. She is deeply religious and would not harm a fly. When it comes to marital infidelity, there are often two women injured by the affair. In this case there are children involved as well.
In court documents Paula Cook alleges a “covert adulterous affair” between her husband and the singer. Ouch, that must sting. She is from North Carolina.

In no way do I condone what Fantasia did, but people seem to forget that there are two parties involved: Fantasia did not break up Cook’s marriage. Cook broke up his own marriage. It seems to me that most women are very accepting of their men cheating. They always blame the other woman and not the man. I say, if you’re going to continue putting up with a cheating man, then shut the hell up and deal with it. Obviously you’re the one with the problem if you consistently accept your man’s indiscretion. A man will continue to cheat on your a$$ because he knows you’re not going to do damn thing about, except bit** and complain like you did the time before and then sweep it under the rug.I don’t care what you say, all men do not cheat. Until you can understand and realize your self worth, you’ll stop wasting your time, blaming the other woman. So I say, throw his lying and cheating a$$ out or shut the hell up and continue to sweep it under the rug like you always do. You can’t keep man that doesn’t want to be kept!

Why is it that Fantasia is being berated about this when Angela Jolie did this while Brad Pitt was still married; even though kids were not involved on his end..the point it happened and now she is celebrated like a beauty goddess..also Alicia Keys did the same thing as well. People seems to forget and this is becoming sickening because the public say okay with one individual and not okay with another. I DEFINITELY do not condone what has happened…just don’t act like we have forgotten and if you gonna cast a stone do it for all and not just one!

I personally think that this couple went after Fantasia to get a big payday. He played the “I’m separated” card and unfortunately, Fantasia fell for it. It is true that separated or not, if a person is married, he is married, but many people think that separated means single. Unfortunately, the law does not see it that way. I know a lot about the NC law of Alienation of Affection and the law of Criminal Conversation, but I truly believe that this law should apply ot people who KNOWINGLY go after a married man with the intent of breaking up that marriage. I think that in this case Fantasia did not knowingly go after this…duh, she is a public figure and she knows this could damage her career, the girl may be somewhat uneducated, NO OFFENSE FANTASIA, but she would not put her career in jeopardy know that this is her bread and butter, let’s get real!!!!

We all know man lie to get what they want. So why are people out there holding Fantasia responsible for a man lying to her? How what she suppose to know that he was still involved with his wife? Come on now people. Look at the facts before you are so quick to jump down her throat and call her a homewrecker. Thats why men will continue to keep doing this to woman because they know once it’s in the air they will be sky free because people will jump straight on the woman like its her fault this was caused while he slips away. Fantasia can do what the hell she wants to do, you people are very opinionated, I would love to dig all of the skeletons out of your closets. If another woman can take away your man, then you never had him. Don’t blame that woman for your problems, blame that man(boy). I wouldn’t be surprised to know that he and his wife set this whole dilemma into motion for monetary gain. Fantasia darling, open your eyes, the bible says trust no man and that statement alone is irrefutable. North Carolina needs to remove that ridiculous law from their books, before the state becomes overwhelmed with frivolous lawsuits. Why should one be allowed to sue another woman for their marital problems. If this act is permissible then I should be able to sue the government for my problems. Isn’t that a thought?

No good is going to come from this. why do people always have to try and get ahead by bringing others down. This Paula and Antwuan Cook need to be dumped in a river somewhere. They are going to reap what they are sowing. God don’t like ugly and he will always cover His own. Even if they do end up getting money out of Fantasia, it will bring nothing but pain and misery to their entire family.
