Where has Fantasia Barrino’s daughter Zion Quari Barrino been amidst rumors of a failed suicide attempt by her mother? Fantasia Barrino’s daughter, Zion Quari Barrino, didn’t exactly enter this world at an easy time of her mother’s life and I have a feeling the story of her existence is going to be a difficult one to take in when the time is right.
Many of us know the story from watching American Idol, but for those who have not…read on. While attending Andrews High School in High Point, North Carolina, Fantasia was raped by a classmate. It was shortly thereafter that Barrino discovered that she was pregnant. Because she was still in high school and pregnant at just sixteen years of age, she felt humiliated and embarrassed. This difficult situation led Fantasia to drop out of high school and give birth to her daughter. On August 8, 2001, Zion was born. And since that date Fantasia was working hard to make ends meet for her and her beautiful baby girl. As far as we know, Rodney (Zion’s father) is not taking responsibility for his child.
The news of an apparent suicide have many fans wondering why would the singer selfishly want to leave Zion alone? Sure the rumors of an alleged affair and sex tape are probably not easy to deal with, especially that the dirty laundry has been aired out publicly, but now Fantasia has this to explain to her now 9-year-old daughter.
Despite Fantasia’s manager releasing the following statement, “‘Her injuries are not life threatening…she was dehydrated and exhausted at the time,” the Police Department dealing with Fantasia’s case is classifying this as an attempt of suicide.
What do you think? My heart definitely goes out to Fantasia and those involved in this situation, but more so Fantasia’s daughter Zion Quari Barrino, who is stuck in the middle of all of this.

I saw the interview on Good Morning America… I thought it was wonderfrul. Fantasia was so professional and well spoken. I believe she was totally honest and that is what’s gonna make her rise to the top! I commend her on being real. This interview and her great performance is gonna really help her and somebody who’s dealing with a similiar lifestyle.

I don’t no why people are speading roomers about her dating a married man even though it’s true.
