The beautiful Liz Vassey is a CSI actress or at least she used to be until a few days ago. You can find out what happened and learn more about this brunette beauty which includes some pictures and hot video too.

Liz Vassey

Actress Liz Vassey of CSI fame is leaving the show she has called home for more than five years. Vassey plays Wendy Simms, some call her the lab rat I call her the lab queen because she is stuck in the lab all day. According to TV Squad a CBS rep claims the show is going in a different direction next year for the 11th season which is why she was released from the show.

So other than she is now unemployed what do we know about Liz. Well she was born in North Carolina, Raleigh to be exact which makes her a southern girl. Liz got her big break on the daytime soap opera All My Children where she played Emily Ann Sago for three years, I honestly remember her best from her soap days. I loved her on the show and so did the academy as she won a Daytime Emmy for her role on All My Children. Although she had a ton of guest starring roles after leaving daytime television Vassey her next big role was on the show Tru Calling in 2004.

Liz also owns and runs a company that designs and sells slogan T-Shirts for women. The company is called Neurosis to a T(ee). Vassey has been married to David Emmerichs for six years. The couple currently resides in Los Angeles.

They say all good things must come to an end and that appears to be the case of CSI actress Liz Vassey as she leaves behind the character of Wendy and embarks on a new adventure. I think she is very talented and have no doubt she will showing off her acting chops again very soon.

Let me know what you think of Vassey being let go from the show?

Terrible decision for CSI to let her go. She was one of the only reasons I still watch that show. It had a good run, but has been consistently mismanaged for the last few seasons. Hopefully they’ll see the error of their ways when their number continue to decline, but it will probably be too little, too late.

Oh, well. She’s a talented actress, I’m sure she’ll have a new job (with hopefully a larger part) very soon.

Liz will land on her feet and do well: she is a talented attractive actress and was well-liked on CSI. This is the nature of Hollywood: actors come and go.

Ok… I must say I’m very upset with CSI’s choice of releasing Liz Vassey from the cast. At the end of last year they started making this story line with her and Wallace Langham. Making it look like they were going to be an item together. Then the beginning of this year, BANG she’s leaving. Some producers loose track of what’s good and bad with a show. They get their heads stuck in some dark place. They don’t seem to get it out until after it’s too late. Oh well!! It’s the breaks of show biz. I hope Liz shows up on a new show written just for her. And it becomes a resounding super smash hit for her. Get out there Liz and break a leg.

I believe her role in CSI was too limiting for her personally. This may be the opportunity for her to find a larger role in a tv series. This is a very talented young woman who has clearly demonstarted her abilities as shown in her Emmy winning performances on daytime tv. It remains the problem of finding the “right” property for her to be in, perhaps a change of pace into a sit com to demonstrate the breadth of her abilities. I do not believe she should yet attempt a transition to the BIG screen.
