A year after the death of the King of Pop, we got a special Michael Jackson tribute by Chris Brown. The BET Awards 2010 show was their first chance to honor him, and I think it was nice. Continue for more details, with more pictures and a video of the performance below.
One day before the show last year was when we lost one of the greatest musicians of all time. The creators of the show made sure to use their first chance to honor him wisely. The young singer really did an amazing job imitating the Michael Jackson persona, and wasn’t even able to complete the son “Man in the Mirror” before breaking down and crying!

Rather than having his picture taken, Spencer Pratt may be scouting out celebrity photos, says Hollywire!

Back to the tribute that caused tears. The 21 year old singer has had a dramatic year, with the assault case confession. This in fact was his first performance for TV since he pled guilty, and he sure made it a good one! Some do wonder though, if he was indeed genuine, or just trying to soften his image.
Regardless of that, Chris Brown’s BET Awards 2010 celebration of Michael Jackson’s music was awesome! Tell me what you think below after you check out these photos and see the performance video for yourself.

Chris Browns performance was amazing. He did a great job dancing to The King of pop’s music and saluted him well. I think anyone who watched that tribute cried along with the rest of the world. Nobody can ever replace Michael but Chris Brown did one heck of a job.

I think Chris Brown’s dance performance was amazing. Very much like Michael Jackson. But I’m sorry the whole crying bit, was fake. He planned the whole feakin thing. You would have thought he was Michael’s son the way he broke down. Fake, Fake, Fake, and Fake! And so obvious. I do think he deserves to be forgiven for what he did. We all screw up. If Rihanna forgives him we should be able to. But to use an event to honor someone whom we all loved and miss very much as an opportunity to lift his career up off the ground and sell more records is disgusting. Only time will put what happened with Rihanna behind. Nothing else he can do will change that. His fake crying caused a lot of people to lose even more respect for him.

Well, I do believe in second chances. I do not condone what Chris Brown did however he has paid the sacrifice for his actions. Essentially, no one will ever forget what happened and that’s worse than being punished.
