Bret Michaels and Holly Robinson Peete kicked off the show in a fight to win Celebrity Apprentice demonstrating an amazing dedication and devotion to their charities, the American Diabetes Association and the HollyRod Foundation that supports children with autism. Their Snapple presentations were both gratifying, so much so that Trump called it draw. Find out more about the season’s finale and be sure to check out photos and videos below.

The season finale began with an introduction of their own initiation of Snapple. Holly chose to present the regular Snapple called, Hollyrod’s Compassionberry Tea while Bret chose his signature Diet Snapple product called, Diet Trop-A-Rocka which ultimately won over Trump’s most trusted colleagues. While in the boardroom, Donald asked both contestants about their blends.

Compassionberry Tea

Holly Robinson Peete: “Did you know autism is a global epidemic affecting 67 million people worldwide? The HollyRod foundation helps families in the autism community access affordable treatment and compassionate care, and our mission is what inspired my new Snapple flavor. Compassionberry Tea combines passionfruit and strawberry with The Best Stuff on Earth, making the best stuff even better…and more compassionate.”

Diet Trop-A-Rock Tea

Bret Michaels: “My new tea is taste bud tested and rocker approved. I chose to create a Diet Snapple because I am a lifelong type-1 diabetic and I know together we can find a cure for diabetes. And just like being a diabetic doesn’t mean I have to sacrifice having a rockin’ good time, Diet Snapple doesn’t sacrifice great taste. My Snapple-osophy is simple: awesome taste, the best ingredients and low calories. And now The Best Stuff on Earth is better for me.”

You know, when it comes down to it, Peete was favored to be one of the finalists as an astounding mother, and hard-working businesswoman, while Michaels was considerably the dark horse from the very beginning. How I see it, Bret has showed great personability and displayed loyalty, leadership, and capability, all of which deems an amazing Celebrity Apprentice. He followed through on all of his challenges including the tasks of project management. As for Peete? In Celebrity Apprentice history, she was able to raise the most money estimated at an amazing $347,000! The competing contestants both deserved to win. Not only because of their charities but they were both personally affected by the disease that they were representing. Bret suffers from Diabetes and his daughter Raine is borderline-diabetic and Holly cares for her autistic son. Even Holly said that it is impossible to feel defeated. She felt as if she had already won. To her surprise she shared that her five-year said, “Mommy, I love you, but I am rooting for Bret.” That a girl, so was I!

Indeed Mr. Trump had a hard decision but to my excitement, suddenly turned to Bret and said, “You’re hired!” The rocker won an additional $250,000 for the American Diabetes Association and Donald also matched a quarter million donation for Holley, the second-place winner of Celebrity Apprentice.

Though a very tough deliberation, I found it very interesting when Trump had his past Apprentice winners and this season’s contestants give their opinions on who should win. One comment that stood out to me was whether his hiring should be based on “head vs. heart”. Champion Joan Rivers commented “business-wise Holly, but screw it, screw it all, I’m going with Bret.” Gosh I love that woman! Contestant Rod Blagojevich “called it a ‘head-vs.-heart thing'” and even though he was initially on Holly’s side, he chose to follow his heart and told Don to “not fire Bret!” Absolutely agree. I think that the Poison frontman had the head and the heart the entire competition. Love you Bret!

So, even I must admit, this season’s Celebrity Apprentice winner, Bret Michaels, is one of the best I have ever seen. Not only was it filled with surprises, but it showed an incredible determined human being that was destined to win. He shows his strength in everything he does, even when death comes knocking on his door. I don’t care what anyone says, Bret deserved to win in every aspect of the competition!

Leave us your thoughts about this season’s Celebrity Apprentice and leave your congrats and thoughts in the comment box. As far as I’m concerned, Donald? You’re hired in my book, too. What a great show in so many ways and what a memorable season, sigh! See pictures and a video below.
