Meet Chrishell Stause, Matthew Morrison’s ex-girlfriend and ex-fiancee. Stause was born on July 21st, 1981 in Draffenville, Kentucky. She attended and graduated from Murray State University, with a focus on theater arts. It was in April of 2005 that she landed the role as Amanda Dillon on All My Children.

Stause was briefly engaged to Glee star Matthew Morrison but claims she ended the engagement after she suspected he was cheating on her.

About her engagement to Morrison, Stause tells Star magazine, “I decided to break off our engagement. because I believed he was seeing other people and just wasn’t ready to fully commit.”

On her official website she added fuel to the fire jokingly saying, “This is obviously a serious matter, but laughter makes it easier. Besides, it’s not Matthew’s fault that he thought Monogamy was a type of tree!”

However she has no real hard feelings towards her ex and wishes him the best. She says, “I am really happy for Matthew and his success. I still love and adore him. It’s been a long time since we ended our relationship, and looking back, it was for the best. Everything happens for a reason.”

About the cheating rumors with one of his friends and co-stars, Morrison says “There’s the one about Lea (Michele) and myself, and we were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist, and she got a call a minute later and we looked at each other like, ‘What the f–?’ It’s so laughable.” He adds, “And now there’s this one about my ex-fiancee going to the tabloids, which so isn’t true. I feel like I can handle this stuff because I don’t really care. I’ve never gotten into tabloids and I don’t really care about it now, but I just feel bad for other people in my life who are getting dragged into it. It just kinda sucks.”

Whenever I hear a story as such I always think there’s one side, the other side and then the truth. Whatever the case may be in this relationship, what’s done is done and maybe after the mudslinging I’m sure neither Chrishell Stause nor Morrison will have a problem finding a new love. And if not, hey there’s always a possibility of a reality show opportunity.
