Meet Beverly Peele, former supermodel who was born in Los Angeles, California in the year of 1965. It was in 1987 when Peele began modeling, however he big break came in 1989 when she landed a cover for Mademoiselle magazine. She went on to appear on Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan magazine covers.

Not only that but her ad work consists of Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan and Versace. Runway work included Chanel and Comme des Garcons.

Peele was a very popular supermodel in the 1980’s. As you may or may not know and with the 80’s came the common appearance by supermodels in music videos and Beverly was not a stranger to that. She appeared in Heavy D & the Boyz’s “Nuttin’ but Love” and George Michael’s “Too Funky” video.

Now while Beverly was a successful model but got herself into a bit of trouble in 2005 when she found a credit card in a supermarket and instead of turning it in, she decided to do a bit of shopping with it. Peele was ordered to pay $4000 to the credit card holder and $900 to American Express.

It seems now Peele is fighting for her life at the UCLA Medical Center as TMZ is reporting that after being involved in a car accident. She is currently in very serious condition.

Our thoughts go out to Beverly Peele and her family. I hope she recovers soon!
