Miyako Fujitani is Steven Seagal’s first wife. Her name has popped up in the news this week after her ex-hubby became embroiled in an alleged ‘sex trafficking’ scandal.

In case you have spent the last few weeks living with monks in a secluded monastery high in the Himalayas, I’ll fill you in. Action hero Steven Seagal has recently been accused of some pretty foul things.

A former ‘employee’ named Kayden Nguyen has come forward alleging that the Under Siege star treated her as his sexual plaything. Her attorneys even claim they were able to get sworn statements by other women with similar stories. Seagal has flat out denied the claims, and has even filed a motion to enter into arbitration with Nguyen.

To make matters much worse, one of his ex-wives, Kelly LeBrock, just so happens to be on the verge of publishing a book that promises to reveal the real Steven Seagal.

But before the Kayden Nguyens, Kelly LeBrocks, and scandalous lawsuits, there was a woman named Miyako Fujitani. She was married to the Aikido master from 1975 to 1986. Miyako (his first wife) has worked her way into the news cycle following the anticipation of LeBrock’s book.

So far wife #1 hasn’t made any outrageous claims about him, or any for that matter. If you watch the video below, you might be able to guess why…you’d have to be a dummy to mess with that lady!

There isn’t much available in terms of a biography for her, but here’s what we know:

Miyako met Steven in California in the 1970s. Back then, her family owned an Aikido dojo in Japan. Before long the two were married, and Steven began working as a chief instructor at her parent’s dojo. They had two children together, Ayako Fujitani and Kentaro Fujitani.

Seagal eventually left Japan to return to California where he later remarried.

For now it appears the entire Japanese side of the family is remaining relatively quiet about his current legal troubles. RadarOnline managed to get a few quotes out of his son, but he didn’t seem willing to say too much.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I don’t know anything about it…I’m not doing anything at all. I’m not not supporting him or supporting him, you know… he’s just my father and that’s all it is.”

Wow, somebody sounds bitter about daddy leaving when they were a kid. Want more information about Miyako Fujitani? Click here.
