Shayne Lamas, daughter of 80′s heartthrob Lorenzo Lamas, has gotten hitched in Las Vegas. According to TMZ.com Shayne married Nik Richie at the Little White Wedding Chapel last night after meeting him on Saturday Night. Oh yes you read it right they got married after knowing each other for a mere 24 hours. Nik is the man behind TheDirty.com website. I wonder what daddy Lamas is going to have to say about Shayne’s latest stunt? Probably not much anyone who has watched Leaving It To Lamas or The Bachelor knows this is typical Shayne behavior. Anyone want to take bets on how long the marriage will last?
Shayne is one of Lorenzo’s many kids and her mother is his second wife Michelle Smith. Born and raised in Los Angeles Shayne caught the acting bug and set out to make a name for herself separate from her famous father. She had small appearances on shows like General Hospital, Air America and the reality TV show Twentyfourseven. Shayne also appeared on the big screen in films like The 13th Alley and In The Pines.
Her biggest claim to fame though is that she won The Bachelor London Calling and the heart of Matt Grant, well for a little while anyway. The couple was engaged and broke up in what seems like a matter of seconds, although I think it may have been more like months. After her stint on The Bachelor Shayne joined her mother, father, brother A.J and half sister Dakota on the oh so bad reality TV show Leave It To Lamas. Yeah it looks like Shayne has traded in acting gigs for reality TV show gigs.
