Tonight was a night to honor our favorite country stars. With awesome vocals and entertaining performances, the ACMA’s began with country’s sweethearts, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, in their amazing duet which was later joined by singer Brad Paisley, Charlie Daniels, and John Fogherty with singing their arrangement of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Travelin’ Band.
Lady Antebellum performed their latest single, “American Honey”. As always, they looked fabulous and sang beautifully. Not only did they wow the audience but their fans too, when they took home five awards including: Song of the Year, Single Record of the Year, Best Vocal Group. Because they produced the record, they received two trophies for “Song of the Year” and two trophies for “Single Record of the Year”.
Following, yet another “Need You Now” award win, Hillary Scott said, “I don’t think this can compare to a gold medal.”
