Sanjaya’s sister, Shyamali Malakar, and their mom Jillian Blith were arrested in 2005 for growing pot. And they apparently grew a whole ton of weed up in Washington practically turning their home and surrounding land into an illicit drug farm.
Shyamali was arrested for possession of marijuana and a bunch of used toke devices. My goodness? All this from our favorite Indian girl next door? The National Enquirer first broke the news.
The arrest sheet charges that Shyamali Rosaria Malakar was unlawfully using drug paraphernalia to “plant, propagate, cultivate, grow, manufacture, compound, convert, produce, process, propare, test, analyze, pack, repack, store, contain, conceal, inject, ingest, inhale, or otherwise introduce into the human body a controlled substance contrary to the … peace and dignity of the State of Washington.”
I kid you not. Shyamali Malakar is apparently a naughty, bad girl.
The arrest photo can’t be released by the authorities because Shyamali was 17 years old when she was doping it up with mom. If you run across it, just drop us a line.
