Kurt Iswarienko, Shannen Doherty’s boyfriend, has been photographed out and about with the former 90210 star. ‘Brenda Walsh’ seems to be enjoying the face time that DWTS is affording her.
I can’t even look at her picture without hearing that corny guitar riff that used to kick off every 90210 episode. Needless to say I’m a tortured soul these days now that she’s being splashed across the web as a celeb dancer.
But what about this guy she’s been running around with? Well, his name is Kurt Iswarienko – and he has earned the dubious title of being Shannen Doherty’s boyfriend. All we really know about him is that he’s a photographer—and apparently a good one at that. Check out these shots he took of Benicio Del Toro for Flaunt Magazine.
I wonder if he is jealous of Mr. Twinkletoes Mark Ballas? My guess is no.
Anyway, there is actually an interesting back-story behind this couple. The prestigious Star Magazine reported back in mid-2009 that she officially became a ‘home-wrecker’ who played a role in the divorce of Kurt and his ex-wife, Taryn Band.
Kurt’s rep claims that he didn’t start seeing Shannen until after filing for divorce, but his ex-wife’s mother sees things differently:
“Shannen broke up a marriage… and that’s all I’m going to say!”
I suppose you have to question the source. I’m sure his ex’s mother is bitter that she was put on matrimonial foot patrol, and she could have been simply letting off some steam. But when you sprinkle in all of the rumors that Doherty hasn’t ever been known for her congenial spirit, it makes for a decent story.
It doesn’t help that every time the papparazos get a glimpse of her she has a healthy scowl on her face, either.
I suppose that along with her appearance as a contestant on DWTS, she can expect a whole lot more photographers in her life.
