Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have had one of the longest engagements – six years! But it seems that the couple took their time and did things in a low key manner, just the way they wanted to.
After being engaged for over six years, the couple tied the knot in Paris on March 15th. It was a very low key wedding ceremony, and only a few close friends and family attended. The couple wanted a “no fuss” wedding and they sure got it! No one even knew about it until this week! Celebrities, take note!
Fisher reportedly wrote an e-mail to a friend saying,
“We did it — we’re married! It was the absolute best day of my life…I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss — just us!”
Isla and Sacha have always avoided playing up their romance in the media, in fact forget wedding pictures, I had a hard time finding photos of the two of them together period for the gallery below!
Sacha, 38, and Isla, 34, have a two-year-old daughter, Olive and were engaged since 2004.
Hopefully family and friends who were not invited to the big day do not feel too left out, and understand their need for privacy.
In being so private, they have managed to keep most of the wedding details out of the news, but we do know it was a traditional Jewish ceremony.
