Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of the passing of a reality star. Jackiey Budden, Jade Goody’s mother visited her daughter’s memorial site as others joined to celebrate the life of one short-lived. Find out more details and see photos and a video here.
Jade Goody, age 27, lost her battle last year due to cervical cancer. She left behind her husband, Jack Tweed, her two sons, Bobby, 6, and Freddie, 5 and is survived by her many loved ones.
As a biography, Jackiey Budden is from London. She is 52 years old. Andrew Goody and Jackiey Budden welcomed Jade Cerisa Lorraine Goody on June 5, 1981. Shortly after, her parents separated. Her father was sent to prison for four years in Wandsworth Prison for robbery and in 2005, died from a heroin overdose. Jackiey was involved in a motorcycle accident and suffered injury to her arm and eye which she can no longer use. Her grandchildren are: Bobby Jack Brazier (b. June 2003) and Freddie Brazier (b. September 2004).
Unfortunately, the latest news of Jane Goody’s mother comes in the days leading up to the one year anniversary of her daughter’s death. Budden spoke on ITV1′s “This Morning” about her terrible behavior related to drugs. It is reported that Jackiey apparently was seen using cocaine prior to the anniversary of Jade’s death. Budden did say that she promised to not use drugs again, stating the she is “disgusted with herself”.
After reportedly being clean for nine years, Jackiey admits, “It’s the biggest mistake I’ve ever done. I’m disgusted with myself. I mucked up,” adding that it makes her literally sick to even think she would do such a stupid thing, seemingly apologetic.
The ceremony that was held at FA Albin undertakers in Bermondsey where Jade’s grandfather, John Caddock said, “It was a beautiful ceremony. It brought back all the memories of Jade and what happened a year ago.”
It is said that Miss Jade is an inspiration to all, especially in the local community. She tried her best to shed some light in the darkest of circumstances in hopes that others would follow in her courageous footsteps. “I said that Jade had been an inspiration to people, certainly in the local community.
Such a sad, sad story for someone who rose to fame, to have their life cut way too short. It proves that Jade is dearly missed and her loved ones stand very proud.
