Amy Poehler, 38, and her hubby Will Arnett, 39, are happy to announce a new addition to their family. They are pregnant! Hooray!
The lovely parents of their 16-month old son, Archie, seem thrilled to be adding another babe to the family. Quite frankly, so am I! I love this couple! They have said that they enjoy parenthood. About parenting, daddy Arnett say, “As sort of clichéd as it sounds, it’s just the best,” adding, “Because it’s a human being that you’re responsible for … that’s scary, but even in its scariest moments it’s fantastic.”
A representative for Amy did confirm the news stating that the enthusiastic couple are, in fact, expecting their second child who will join their big brother!
It is said that the baby will arrive sometime at the end of the summer or early fall. Even though Poehler’s baby bump is said to have an effect on her show, “Parks and Recreation” and the production’s schedule, they are able to work with her with the show in “continuous production after it wraps Season 2 to bank episodes for the next season”.
Poehler and Arnett wed in August of 2003. The couple’s son later arrived in 2008. About motherhood, Amy has said, “Any working mother will tell you it’s a day-to-day thing. You just do your best and try to make it work.”
