Alec Baldwin posted an apology online on his website, saying that he was “driven to the edge” by his ex-wife Kim Basinger. His lawyer is taking legal action to find out who is responsible for leaking his tirade on his 11 year old daughter Ireland. He reportedly said that Basinger has “alienated” him from his parental duties, which drove him to lose his temper. Here’s what he posted on his site:
“Although I have been told by numerous people not to worry too much, as all parents lose their patience with their kids, I am most saddened that this was released to the media because of what it does to a child. I’m sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child. I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now… I am sorry for what happened. But I am equally sorry that a court order was violated, which had deliberately been put under seal in this case.”
No matter who leaked this tape to the media, the whole world now knows that this little girl has served as your verbal punching bag for God knows how long. Shame on you Alec Baldwin. I’ll never be able to look at you the same way again.
