Ben Roethlisberger: Accused of Sexual Assault

Steeler’s quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, has not only once, but twice has been accused of sexual assault by another woman.

According to reports, the alleged assault took place in the wee hours of Friday morning at the “Capitol City” night club in Milledgeville, Georgia. The woman from Georgia claims that the alleged sexual assault took place in the club’s women’s restroom. It is said that the victim was taken to a hospital nearby.

The young woman has reportedly been interviewed by law enforcement and released by the hospital where she sought treatment. It is also reported that Big Ben was interviewed. A representative for the Pittsburgh Steelers said, “We are gathering information on the report and we will have no other comment at this time.”

TMZ reports that Roethlisberger’s agent, Ryan Tollner released a statement saying, “Last night, Ben and his friends met a group of women and everyone mingled together throughout the evening,” adding, “We have spoken to law enforcement. Based on information currently available, an allegation was made against Ben, which appeared to be dismissed after a preliminary investigation last night. Obviously, given the prior accusation against Ben, we are skeptical of motive, but we will continue to cooperate with everyone involved.”

This apparently is not the first time accusations have been made against the football star. A woman by the name of Andrea McNulty also claims that Big Ben allegedly sexually assaulted her back in 2008 in Reno, Nevada.

This story is still developing. A conference is to be held by the Milledgeville Police Department to address the investigation at 3:30 PST.
