Trace Adkins Bus Crash

February 13, 2010

Country superstar Trace Adkins’ tour bus was in a crash that killed two people this morning. Although Trace himself was not on the bus his band was on board when the fatal crash happened. I have much more on the Trace Adkins tour bus crash, along with pictures of Trace and a video of country singer doing his thing.

According to the Trace Adkins tour bus crash took place in Louisiana this morning and involved one of his tour buses and a Ford pickup truck. The accident killed both men in the pickup truck, so sad. According to the Caddo Sheriff’s department there was a total of nine people on the bus, five of which were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries. is also reporting that Adkins arrived on the scene, via a private car, shortly after the crash happened. Apparently he spoke with emergency crews before heading to the hospital to check on his injured band members. is reporting that the truck was driving erratically before the accident and that the truck crossed the center line hitting Adkins tour bus.

Trace was scheduled to play a concert with Martina McBride tonight in Bossier City, LA, the band was headed to Bossier City when the crash occurred. Currently McBride and Adkins are on their Shine All Night Tour. A spokesperson for Century Tel, the venue where the concert is being held, confirmed that the concert will go on as planned.

Clearly Adkins attitude is the show must go on and I am so not surprised by that at all. If you know anything about Trace Adkins you know he is all heart, especially if you watched him on the reality TV show The Celebrity Apprentice with his daughters. He is famous for hit songs like You’re Gonna Miss This and Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.

I hope you take a minute to watch the below video of Trace Adkins and the West Point Cadet Glee Club at the ACM awards, it is amazing. He is so talented.
