Reportedly, Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller is released from the hospital after an alleged infection resulting from a bout of pneumonia. Find out more revealing details and see photos and a video here.
Brook Mueller has been staying in a Los Angeles hospital in intensive care for over a week and is well enough to be discharged last night.
Charlie Sheen’s wife was reportedly admitted to a hospital on January 20 for an infection and pneumonia found in both lungs, initially resulting from an oral infection from having a wisdom tooth extracted.
Mueller’s mother, Moira Fiore reports, “I picked her up [Monday night] and brought her to a friend’s house in Los Angeles where we will stay until we decide what we are going to do and where we will go.”
A source close to Brooke said that doctors in the intensive care unit advised their patient to “reduce stress and get a lot of R&R in the coming weeks.” Moreover, her mother seemingly believes Brooke could use a break from the city and her husband to clear her mind. Perhaps a stress relief regimen and some psychological counseling?
Because of her illness, Mueller was unable to attend a hearing held in Aspen regarding a more flexible protective order enabling them to have contact. However, Sheen was able to obtain a temporary contact order allowing him to visit his wife only while she was hospitalized.
So now that she has been discharged, now what? Well, apparently the couple are not supposed to have any sort of contact with one another until they see a judge to make the proper adjustments to the order. They are due in court on February 8, 2010.
