John Edwards officially no longer denies the paternity of his two-year old daughter. Amen!

Former Senator John Edwards recently issued a statement saying, “I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves.” Well, it’s about freaking time, Johnny boy. How could you have said and done everything and ask for forgiveness?

It is said that the former Senator went public and admitted, “I am Quinn’s father. It was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter and hopefully one day, when she understands, she will forgive me.” What about your wife?

It’s obvious that Elizabeth Edwards has unfortunately been a part of this political scandal, and not by choice, however, she “thinks he should acknowledge this”. Wow, what a woman!

Last but not least, he said, “To all those I have disappointed and hurt, these words will never be enough, but I am truly sorry.” Yeah, we bet you are. At least you stepped up to the plate, Senator, better late than never I suppose.

(Tidbit) Elizabeth and John have three children: Cate (27), Emma (11), and Jack (9).

Thanks for setting the record straight! I believe it can only get better than worse. I guess this is a way that the former Democratic presidential hopeful can now possibly move forward in life and that everyone affected by his actions are able to do so, as well. I certainly wish you and your family the best! Tell us what you think about the situation and the fact that John Edwards admits paternity in the comment box and see pictures and a film right here.
