George Clooney graces the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, and let me tell you, this man is unstoppable when it comes to making great films!

We all know that George Clooney is the infamous ladies’ man, and he seems to be aware of people’s judgments. Moreover, within the spread, Clooney talks about the balance between his life and his character’s. He said that Jason Reitman, the director of “Juno” came to his home and brought along the script for him to read. The actor said that “there were some things that sounded like they were taken from a Barbara Walters special that I had done. I’m not completely unaware of people’s perceptions of me. I sort of felt like, if you were ever going to deal with it, this is probably the best way to do it and the best person to do it with. If you can’t point at what people think are your shortcomings, then you’re boxing yourself in.”

In his upcoming film, it appears that the actor is quite skeptical about using body doubles because it is obviously, not him. He says that in “Up in the Air” they use someone else’s hand for a brief shot using someone else’s thumb on a suitcase. Clooney admittingly says, “I bite my cuticles so I’m always ashamed,” claiming that the image just doesn’t look right, whether they are just different looking fingers or hairy knuckles!

Could this be an Academy-Award winning movie? He says, “I’ve been in good movies that were not successful. Out of Sight bombed, Three Kings really didn’t do well. O Brother, Where Art Thou? did okay, not great. The problem is that if they don’t (perform at the box office), then it really is going to be just Transformers. I’m not making any judgment on Transformers, I’m just saying (Hollywood will only make) those tentpoles.” Well said, George. We believe that any movie you touch is gold!
