On Tuesday night, R & B singer Mary J. Blige and her hubby Kendu Isaacs were the center of attention at the club “M2″ for the release party of her record, until homeboy allegedly was accused of flirting, then pow! Or shall we say, bells were ringing, are you listening?!
As a biography, not much is known about Martin Kendu Isaacs. He is most known as “Kendu” and is a record industry executive who is married to R & B singer and star Mary J. Blige. The couple starting dating in 2000. He supported her and helped her get through her drug and alcohol addictions. On December 7 of 2003, the couple wed, in a confidential reception held at Blige’s home with close family and friends of 50 guests.
It is said that Mary J Blige’s husband was supposedly getting a little too flirtatious for the diva’s liking. So she allegedly connected with his face, fist first! Bam!
A source said that she turned toward him hollering, “You’re not going to ruin my night,” with further comment that the couple were allegedly face-to-face and someone popped in between, and she allegedly shoved this person aside, than blind-sided Kendu.
But get this, it is reported that she then uses this phrase toward her husband, “What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?” Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better. It is said that after the Grammy award-winning performance, her husband was reportedly kicked out.
However, the “No More Drama” queen of R & B’s rep claims otherwise stating that these allegations are “baseless”. The spokesperson expresses, “They’re as happy as can be,” adding, “They’re spending the holidays together with their three children. Everything’s great.”
Furthermore, it is said that the actual incident was in an altercation involving Mary J. Blige’s husband and her brother. The same spokesperson as above also shares that the singer was, in fact, trying to separate the brawl that had occurred between the two men.
Contrary to claims that the hip-hop diva punched her husband, Kendu Isaacs, at a Chelsea club, Blige tells the Daily News she was simply trying to stop a brawl between Isaacs and her brother. It is noted that there was no blood involved, either. But most of all, nothing was ever said about Chris Brown, although, that’s a slammin’ kick phrase, now, thanks!
Regardless of what really went down, all we know is that it is Christmas, and the wounds, if any, shall heal. Leave us your thoughts about Mary J. Blige’s husband, Kendu Isaacs in the comment box and see pictures and a film here.
