Just in! Choreographer, Shane Sparks was arrested this morning on a felony warrant regarding child molestation charges.

As a biography, Shane Sparks was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 25, 1974 so his age is 35. He is currently an award-winning hip-hop choreographer. His parents are police officers, Melvin and Wanda Sparks. He is the youngest of three children. Sparks was born with Scoliosis and, therefore, spent much time in the hospital following his birth. At the age of 11, he remarkably started dancing. As a child, he continued to have an interest in dance and furthermore, was involved in talent show and high school gigs. After the murder of his sister’s boyfriend, he strongly pursued his passion. His inspiration and model choreographers that he admired, include: Bruno Falcon, Fred Astaire, Michael Jackson, Bob Fosse, and Paula Abdul. Sparks’ graduated from Aiken Senior High School and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. At 19, he became a part of a dance group called, “Krush”. As a group, they later became a singing group called, “Cold Premiere”. After the end of the group, the choreographer can be seen in singer Brandy Norwood’s music video called, “I Wanna Be Down”. At this time, he attended dance classes at the Millennium Dance Complex in Hollywood. Sparks became an assistant teacher of the class. Later, moved up to the teacher’s position. Eventually, the class grew and classes became more necessary. The choreographer, himself, starting getting offers to work with big venues like the American Music Awards. He also then started to receive modeling and dancing contracts with L’Oreal’s Matrix hair products. He started working with famous artists. He had a hand in the movie, “You Got Served” and won an “American Choreography Award” for the movie. Sparks judged the 2004 World Hip Hop Dance Championship. However, he is most-known for his choreography work on “So You Think You Can Dance”. He was nominated for and Emmy Award for “Outstanding Choreography” for his work on Season Three of the reality competition show. He is a judge on “America’s Best Dance Crew”. Amongst other choreographers, he teaches at “The Pulse” dance convention which is held in many cities throughout the country. Sparks is currently working on projects including television and movies. He has been romantically linked but no longer with Francia Raisa.

According to reports, Los Angeles Police cuffed the “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge at his Hollywood home around eight this morning, Pacific Time, and is being held on $590,000 bail at Van Nuys jail.

It is said that there are nine alleged felony counts of child molestation of a minor girl, according to the criminal complaint filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.

Within this complaint it claims that Sparks participated in acts “with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than (the victim)”.

    Interesting because at the Hip Hop International’s this past summer, I heard that parent’s were complaining because Shane was doing things to children in the pool and parents were calling him a child molester. These parents need to come forward as well. It’s hard telling how many young children he has molested. It’s sad but true. I didn’t want to believe it myself but there were several who were complaining about this…anybody wanna step up and admit…
