Gorgeous Natalie Portman graces the cover of Marie Claire next month, and we have her photos and snippets from her interview here. The actress talks about the Sean Penn rumor and more!
Natalie Portman is one of my favorite actresses. She is absolutely naturally stunning and she has such a calm, sweet persona, you can’t help but like here. It also helps that’s she is a great actress and has starred in some of my favorite movies. There’s Star Wars of course, but then there are movies like Garden State, all of which will be in my DVD collection forever.
Natalie is promoting her recently released movie, Brothers, co starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Toby Maguire. The movie is off to good reviews, with reviews coming in saying “Brothers is filled with good performances and tense, captivating moments.”
Next month, Natalie graces the cover and pages of Marie Claire, in which she took some beautiful pictures, as you can see in the gallery below. In the cover story, Portman talks about a tabloid rumor which claims she made out with Penn at a party in L.A.:
He’s obviously someone I’m friends with,” she says. “I mean, not ‘hey, wassup?’ friends, but we were all on the [Cannes 2008] jury together — Alfonso [Cuaron] and Marjane [Satrapi] — and we had a really great time, and then … It was one of those things where you’re like ‘Oh my God! I’m that person who’s caught in this shitty rumor brigade.’ You can’t win. You don’t say anything and everyone’s like, ‘It’s true.’ You say something and you’re keeping the story alive. It’s bad, bad news.”
Natalie pretty much stay out of tabloids, so it was surprising to hear anything about her! She also talked about her thoughts on being a muse in the industry.
“I have a problem with muse-ship. I feel like throughout history, it’s been men vampiring on women’s specialness. And why do that for someone?” Then she laughs, before adding: “Maybe it’s fear of intimacy or something.”

Wow what a long way Natalie has come! I can’t wait to see her in her new flick brothers, shes playing a mother? Wonder how she pulled that off.. probably well

Judging her answer, I wonder if she really didn’t make out with Sean Penn! I also heard rumors about her and Jake Gyllenhaal on the set of “Brothers”. Between Jake and Tobey that was one hot set!
