Adam Lambert appeared this morning on CBS’s Early Show to discuss his dramatic performance on Sunday’s AMA’s. He also performed a suitable number for his audience and viewers today. Props to you, Adam!
As a biography, not much is known about Leila Lambert. Her age is 45 years old. She is Adam’s biggest fan. She met her husband, Eber at the University of Vermont. While in college, his father worked as a part-time who introduced Adam to various genres of music. Together, they have two sons, Adam and Neil. The couple moved the family to San Diego a year after Adam’s birth. Both parents encouraged Adam to pursue his dreams of music and theater. After Adam left for college is when Leila and her husband separated. It is said that Adam Lambert’s mother currently resides in Los Angeles and will work for him with his music career.
On the Early Show, Adam addressed his fans curious questions surrounding his recent controversy stating, “I do see how people got offended, but that was not my intention,” adding, “I was looking out in the crowd and saw some of my favorite pop stars and thought, ‘I want to let loose.’ … I think it’s a double whammy. I think it’s because I’m a gay male [people are so outraged] and people haven’t seen that before. I think some people were upset that I kissed a guy.”
The singer also admitted that his performance was a little over-the-top and that he did not see any wrong-doing. However, he stated that his intentions were not to offend anyone but rather to perform his music and have fun with it.
He also says that he allegedly feels like he has been unreasonably attacked because of his sexual preference and condemns parents for allowing their children watch the American Music Awards without supervision.
Adam Lambert’s mother also agrees with her son that the controversy has left her, “a little taken aback” and she has gone with the flow claiming it will all be okay.
