As a biography, Minka Dumont Kelly was born in Los Angeles, California on June 24, 1980 so her age is 29. Her parents are Aerosmith’s former guitarist Rick Dufay and former Vegas showgirl, the late Maureen Kelly. Her father left her mother and the actress while growing up. However, at the age of 17, she tried to mend her relationship with her father. She graduated high school and went back to Los Angeles with her father and attended school for surgical technology while she pursued acting on the side. She can be seen in “The Kingdom” opposite Jamie Foxx in a cameo. The actress is most-known for her role in “Friday Night Lights” as Lyla Garrity. She currently has a lead role on the CW’s “Body Politic”. She has been romantically involved with Dylan Brazil, Chris Evans, and John Mayer. However, she is currently dating New York Yankees’ baseball player Derek Jeter.
Reportedly the pair were seen at 1OAK in Chelsea following the Yankees’ World Series win. They also held hands while in the Bombers’ triumph parade.

it is so wierd seeing minka grow up and turn into what her mother always wanted. i have known her since she was born, and know the hardships she had to go through and came out of it beautifully. i miss her mom so much. i am so proud of minka.
