You have to see Robert Pattinson’s Ryan Secreast interview video, which was totally cut off by an evil publicist! Read the story, and see photos and video here.
Just when you thought we might get the answer to the question that is burning a hole in every Twiliphile’s heart—the live interview was shut down. Vamp-obsessed tweens will just have to wait a little longer to get the real scoop on R-Patz and K-Stew. That’s because Pattinson’s publicist yanked him out of the studio when Ryan Seacrest brought the topic up. Sorry folks!
This actually drives me nuts. There can only be two reasons for the bizarre manner in which the subject is being handled. Either they really are together, and for whatever reason want to keep it private (think Jay-Z and Beyonce in the early days) OR their PR people are playing up the rumored romance because of the wild hype it is creating.
Regardless, the Robert Pattinson, Ryan Seacrest interview video is priceless. I love how Patz handles it like such a distinguished Englishman. He also manages to get a few good plugs in for the movie (as if they need it) before being ushered out. You have to see the look on his publicist’s face as the topic comes up—she seems so frustrated.
Personally, I don’t understand it. Who really cares if they are together or not? And why would THEY care if anyone knew if they were together or not? These kinds of things actually irritate me. It’s not like it would hurt ticket sales if we found out they were together, nor would it if we found out they weren’t. So what’s the big flipping deal?
Either way they get the last laugh, because keeping mum on the subject is working. People cannot and will not move on from it. There are small armies of photogs who chase these two around just hoping for that little glimmer of proof that they’re an item. Ah, well. The good news is that all you have to do is wait until Thursday night at midnight to see their fictional romance in New Moon. I’ll be there, will you?

The manager says that he has two minutes for the interview in the beginning and she’s clearly irritated that he’s asking this question at the end of the time. It’s manipulative of Ryan to have done that.
