Was there a massive Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair fight down under? It’s hard to tell if it was real or staged, but it sure was bloody. Get the story here.

Poor Hulkster has had quite a rough time lately. First his son got in a high-speed car wreck that nearly killed a friend. Then his wife Linda divorced him. Oh, and did I mention he admitted to nearly killing himself with pills and booze? Well, now pictures of a bloodied and battered Hulk Hogan are flying around the net, but how did it happen?

The story goes that he and longtime wrestling colleague Ric Flair were at a press conference in Australia to promote the Hulkamania tour. Apparently out of nowhere, the two began to have a bit of a kerfuffle. To my complete and utter amazement it looks like Ric Flair came out on top, because Hogan wound up covered in blood with what appeared to be a nasty gash on his face—that is of course, if it was real.

It’s hard to tell, but witnesses stated that Flair struck him several times in the head. Either way, it sounds like Hulk wasn’t the only one to feel Flair’s wrath. Reports claim that he sent a table flying into the audience, which even damaged some photography equipment. He then ripped off his belt and began whipping it around at people. It’s unclear what caused the Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair fight, but understandably, a lot of people doubt it was real.

Real or not, it was mission accomplished for these two. I mean, when was the last time Flair was even in the news (was he ever)? We know that “pro-wrestlers” go to great lengths to make the violence seem real—and often times it is. I’ve even heard stories of them slicing themselves open to let the blood gush. Could that be what happened?
