January Jones’ SNL appearance was less than fabulous. Mad Men fans may however beg to differ, but in my opinion it was less than stellar. Check out more here.
So January Jones had the chance to “wow” the audience of SNL with her talent and her charm. However, after watching it myself, January Jones’ SNL appearance was unpleasantly funny and not very entertaining. Reading other critics’ articles regarding her performance, I don’t feel as guilty for thinking of Jones as just another pretty face.
Sure the incredibly appealing cover of GQ and her photo shoot was exquisite, but her acting career could be on the verge of a big crash. So does this mean that Mad Men’s creator Matthew Weiner will not bring Jones back for another season of the hit show? This SNL appearance was rather important for her and I am not sure if she’s won many people over.
Her career has always had a bit of a struggle, but now that Mad Men could be a non-existing form of employment for the actress, will she be able to land another gig worthy enough to earn her respect?
