Jessie Baylin married Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill this week in Tennessee. Read her biography here, and check out some photos and video.
Kings of Leon seemingly came out of nowhere last year, but the band has actually been together for nearly a decade. Formed as a group of brothers plus a cousin, the Nashville group has rocketed to the top, and even landed a spot on tour with Pearl Jam. So why not marry while you’re on a roll?
Radar Online reports that the ceremony took place in Brentwood, Tennessee at the Wolf Den Farm. The outlet even reported that Scarlett Johansson, a schoolmate of Followill, was in attendance.
The 30-year-old groom woke up a happy man this morning, and even tweeted:
“I woke up with a married woman in my bed this morning. Luckily she was mine.”
Here’s what we’ve got in terms of a biography of Jessie Baylin. She is a musician herself, who took a big risk right after high school by dropping everything and heading to LA to pursue her musical aspirations. She eventually worked her way up through the night club scene and was able to capture a local following.
On her official website, she describes that time as “the first time in my life that I actually felt like me.”
The singer/songwriter was eventually picked for a few different national tours, and has since only seen her success grow. Along the way, she met Nathan Followill at the Bonnaroo music festival in 2006.
