As a biography, Sanela Diana Jenkins was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzehovina. She is 36 years of age. She graduated from Sarajevo University majoring in economics and from Bosnia, she fled to London at the start of the Bosnian war where she was awarded refugee asylum. There she attended the City University of London where she learned English and worked several jobs and sent money back home to her family. While in London, she created the swimwear line Melissa Odabash. It was here in 1999 that she met her husband Roger Jenkins at the Barbican gym and they married. In 2002, Diana founded The Irnis Catic Foundation in memory of her brother who was killed in the Bosnian War. This service provides funding to medical facilities at the University of Sarajevo. In August of 2008, she also created the Sanela Diana Jenkins International Justice Clinic at the University of California, Los Angeles International Human Rights Law Program. Lately, she has distributed a book for photography that she called “Room 23″, taken by Deborah Anderson. The celebrities included in this book are her friends, including George Clooney and Elton John. The profit made from the book go to philanthropic programs. In 2009, Diana Jenkins launched NeuroDrinks which sells a variety of beverages designed to improve sleep, sports performance, weight loss and more. The entrepreneur currently lives in Malibu, California.
According to reports, it is said that Roger Jenkins’ wife was treated like “an Eastern European mail-order bride” while in London and because of those who portrayed arrogance, is the reason for Diana’s move to California. Her hubby is reported to have made an estimated $125 million a year with Barclays Bank.
When asked about her husband in an interview, Diana seemingly was quite brief and discreet when it came to his personal business. She was asked if he was setting up an operation in LA and she replied, “You’ll have to talk to him if you want to interview him,” adding that they are very independent people who enjoy traveling.
Roger Jenkins’ wife is determined and it shows by her positive drive and capability. She says, “Nobody cares when you’re complaining, so get on your feet and stop wasting your life. Some people don’t want to take a chance. Others want the world.”
