As a biography, Penn Dayton Badgley was born on November 1, 1986 so his age will be 23. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. The actor grew up in Richmond, Virginia and Seattle, Washington. There, he attended Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma, Washington and took part in the Seattle Children’s Theatre. As a young boy, at age 11, the actor moved with his mother to pursue a career in acting to Hollwood, California. At that time, he also had a hand in music and recorded a single in pop in 1998. After attending Santa Monica College and finishing two years, he transferred to the University of South California at the age of 17. He has played roles in soap operas and television series on networks including the WB and CW. The actor is best known for his character in CW’s “Gossip Girl” as Dan Humphrey. He is Serena va der Woodsen on-screen lover (Blake Lively). He is also Blake Lively’s off-screen boyfriend and the couple have been dating for a year and a half.
According to reports, a source close to Blake says that it’s just a matter of time. They assume that the couple are believed to become engaged soon! It appears that this Sunday, November 1st is Penn’s 23rd birthday. Even though some would like to think there may be something more to celebrate, however others just make assumptions. A source said, ”I think if November 1st was Blake’s birthday, he might have surprised her with a ring,” and adds, ”But my guess is over the holidays.”
Even though Penn may think that dating your co-worker on-screen and in real-life, may not be the wisest move, he does say, “But it’s been wonderful to be in a relationship where we can both identify with what the other is experiencing.”
In addition, Penn speaks of his individuality saying that, “There’s a stigma about looking like you’re tying too hard, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try at all. I really think that’s a bigger mistake.”
