Another reality tv romance, but did it last? Brooke Barlow wins “My Antonio” but she has made it honestly clear that she is not seeing the model/actor anymore. Find out more fizzling details here.
Brooke Barlow, 30, was a contestant on VH1’s “My Antonio” in a quest to find love on the beautiful island of Hawaii. There were 14 lovely ladies competing for his heart.
As a biography, Brooke Barlow was raised in Alabama and Mississippi. Her age is 30. In 2003 she pursued a career in Los Angeles, California. Here, she achieved slots in lead commercial and print agents. Her career took off and she gained a role on ABC’s “Ultimate Love Test” where she played herself in Cabo San Lucas. Barlow continued to act in several commercials and modeled in national ad campaigns. She is a nurse and educated in critical care where she worked for famous plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fischer and started using her expertise in 2005. She can be seen on Keeping Up With the Kardashians alongside many entertainment opportunities exercising her ability to be herself and also serve as a broadcast journalist/television personality. She also worked with Marki and Costello and Idalis DeLeon involving fashion, sporting events to film festivals. Last but not least, filming began earlier this year in January for the reality tv show “My Antonio” which was taped in Hawaii. Model/actor, Antonio Sabato Jr. was in search to find love in just 10 weeks.
Amongst the 14 contestants, it was Brooke Barlow and make-up artist from New York, Miranda Reinfeldt who made it to the finale. The two ladies are completely different, like “oranges and apples” and so Antonio, himself, had to let one of them go. Adorable and hilarious Miranda was not chosen, and smart and witty Brooke was the one to win his heart.
However, what was quite interesting, was when Antonio’s only wife and ex-wife made her appearance on the show in a battle to win him back once more. Alicia “Tully” Jensen-Sabato Jr. did, in fact, make her presence known. Unfortunately, Tully was sent home the episode prior to the finale. Tearfully, the two were finally given a chance to have a moment to say goodbye despite their short courtship years ago.
Moreover, Brooke told VH1, “I am not in touch with Antonio. We haven’t spoken in two, three months.” It sounds like the two have not satisfied the “contract” that Brooke spoke so highly of.
She also adds, “We couldn’t really court, because we weren’t allowed to be seen in public, so it’s very difficult to try to have a relationship behind closed doors. We had just met and we tried to pull it off. We saw each other for probably a couple of months after the show was filmed, and then we just decided it was best to see other people, and I haven’t heard from him since.”
So just because Brooke Barlow wins “My Antonio” doesn’t mean she had him at Aloha. I’m thinking there will be another season? Well, let’s hope so!

Antonio would probably be a good catch for someone if he leaves his mother at home. I thought it was outragous for her to even be on the show, especially when Antonio knows that she hates Tully. He is too stuck on himself. Maybe he needs to date his mother and stop looking for love in all the right places
