Charlize Theron is a brilliant actress with a good heart. In her latest charitable efforts, Theron volunteered herself for an auction which included a kiss. Needless to say, Theron did not know that her kiss would go for a whopping $140,000 and that the winner would be a female!
UsMagazine.com is reporting that Theron’s kiss went to the organization OneXone on Thursday night in San Francisco, California.
However a kiss wasn’t the initial auction prize. Firstly, she offered a 2010 trip to her native South Africa that included World Cup tickets, a safari and a meet-and-greet with Nelson Mandela. Sounds like a pretty cool prize as well.
But when bidding began and she saw that the auction was stalling at $37,000, she threw in a big fat smooch. And let me tell you when that kiss was added, the bidding wars began! A female attendee outbid a man in the audience by $5,000 to win the kiss.
