Justin Timberlake may be experiencing a quiet lull in his musical career right now, but that still doesn’t prevent him from being stalked. Because when you are a celebrity, the crazy stalkers unfortunately come along with the territory. Today Justin was granted a restraining order to keep Karen McNeil, his stalker away from him and his residence!
TMZ is reporting that Justin Timberlake has had enough with Karen McNeil, his stalker.
According to legal documents, McNeil rolled on over to Timberlake’s house in a taxi on October 22 and she bypassed security measures, “trespassed onto [Timberlake's] property, attempted to gain access into his home, and delusionally claimed to know and be friends with [Timberlake].” Scary!
It wasn’t long before Justin’s security team caught wind of the situation and apprehended her.
So just who is Karen McNeil? McNeil has been described as a “heavyset white female, approximately 50 years of age, who appeared to be a transient.”
As a result of the day’s events, it is being reported that LAPD cops took McNeil to a local hospital for a 5150 psychiatric evaluation. Sources say the individuals who evaluated her felt McNeil did not meet the criteria for a 5150 hold and so she was released.
And apparently, McNeil is no stranger to the celebrity stalking scene as she was once banned from getting close to rocker Axl Rose. As a result, Karen was sentenced to a year in prison after repeatedly disobeying a restraining order Rose had against her.
