Roberta McCain, 97, had evidently fainted which resulted in a fall, sustaining injuries to the head reported a spokesman from the Sao Jose hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.
As a biography, Roberta Wright McCain was born February 7, 1912 so her age is 97. She is married to and the widow of Admiral John S. McCain, Jr. They were united in marriage in Caesar’s Bar in Tijuana, Mexico on January 21, 1933. Together they had three children: Sandy McCain Morgan in 1934, John McCain in 1937 and Joe McCain in 1942. She is the mother of Arizona Republican Senator and Presidential elect John McCain. She hit the campaign trail with son John McCain during his run for presidency in 2008. On October 22, the Senator’s mother was injured in a fall where she was hospitalized for her injuries.
According to Reuter’s India, the Senator’s mother fell on Thursday in a Lisbon street and was admitted to a local hospital on Friday with injuries to the head. The Sao Jose hospital stated, “The patient is in observation, undergoing various medical tests, and in a stable clinical condition.”
Senator John McCain was notified by tvi24 after the accident. She suffered abrasions and bruising to her head and face and also bouts of amnesia related to the incident.
Republican nominee John McCain has been in communication with his mom and the doctors and reports that she is recovering fine.
