32-year-old Robin Thicke has achieved acclaim and notoriety as a singer, including a Grammy. I’m willing to bet none of that will bring him as much pride as becoming a father. Us Magazine reported this week that his wife, Paula Patton, is pregnant! The happy couple was spotted looking sharp at the 2009 Angel Ball in New York City on Tuesday night.
It turns out that these two go way back—they were even high school sweethearts! They apparently met at a teen club while they were both just 14-years-old. They just recently celebrated their fourth year of marriage, but if they were together that entire time, that means they’ve been an item for almost 20 years. How ‘bout that for commitment!
So what’s their secret? Thicke joked: “She could make a marriage work with a chair…She’s an incredible woman, and very beautiful. I’m just lucky to be with her.
It sounds like Patton is pretty fond of Thicke too, saying: “He’s … amazing!”
Paula has a pretty successful career herself as an actress. She has been in several major films, including Push, Mirrors, and Swing Vote. She even appeared in Thicke’s music video for Lost Without U.
