Mike Fisher, 29, is the center and rotating captain for the Canadian Ottawa Senators. He also is the new team player in country starlet, Carrie Underwood’s world.

As a biography, Mike Andrew Fisher was born on June 5 in 1980 to parents Jim and Karen Fisher. So his age is 29. He has a brother named Gregory Fisher who also plays hockey as a goaltender at Quinnipiac University for the ECAC. Mike is a professional hockey player for NHL’s Ottawa Senators. In 2006, he was nominated for the Selke Trophy. At the beginning of this year’s season, he was selected as alternate captain of the team. The hockey player is noted for his game and two-way play. In October of 2008, Fisher and country music sensation, Carrie Underwood were introduced by mutual friends at one of her concerts in Toronto.

According to Fisher, the couple continue to make things work and consistently find time for each other given their very chaotic schedules.

Hollyscoop reports that when asked of their relationship and his darling Academy-award winning girlfriend’s music he gushes, “It’s been good!” adding that he likes when she sings a good rock song! Fisher is in favor of Underwood’s new song called “Temporary Home” off of her new album “Play On”.
