The Terminator could very well be…well, terminated! At least with the law. It is being reported that actor Thomas Dekker has allegedly been arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence which resulted in allegedly striking a cyclist. Find out more details on this developing story here.
Actor Thomas Dekker, 21, has apparently been arrested on charges for driving under the influence and causing bodily harm after an accident was reported with police involving a cyclist.
TMZ reports that the actor was taken into custody on Wednesday night around 9pm in the San Fernando Valley in California.
He is being held in confinement for suspicion of a felony DUI and bodily harm inflicted upon the victim. The actor’s bail is said to be set at $100,000.
The actor’s role on Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles playing John and jailed at Van Nuys Jail but was evidently released after posting bail this morning.
Earlier this year the Terminator tv series was cancelled after only two seasons.
It appears that Dekker struck a 17 year old on a bicycle and the victim was knocked off his bike and hit the pavement. Law enforcement say that the kid was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for minor injuries. Police than suspected the actor had been drinking under the influence which resulted in the crash causing the victim’s injuries.
