Nickelodeon will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in a one-hour special called “Truth or Square” airing on Friday, November 6th at 8pm.
According to USA Today’s Lifeline, celebrities will guest star throughout the special including: Rosario Dawson, Craig Ferguson, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, LeBron James, Pink, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and Robin Williams. Ricky Gervais is narrating and Gnarles Barkley will be performing the theme song for SpongeBob. It is said that the show will entail never-before-seen footage that which the bikini bottom game will reminisce on the past incorporating new material.
In “Truth or Square” the bikini bottom gang accidentally lock themselves in the Krusty Krab’s big freezer, unfortunately on the day that the restaurant celebrates their “eleventy seventh” anniversary. The gang can be seen trying to escape through the ventilation system as the gang witnesses flashbacks through never-before-seen footage like the day SpongeBob found his pineapple home, his visit as a baby to the Krusty Krab, a classic tv commercial for the Krusty Krab, and last but not least, the wedding of SpongeBob and Sandy! This episode is one you will not want to miss.
Starpulse reports that Brown Johnson, President, Animation, Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family Group expressed, “Over the past decade, SpongeBob has become one of the most beloved characters in television history and we’re excited to cap off the year’s celebration with this star-studded special anniversary event.”
