Yesterday the First Lady of France, Carla Bruni, launched her very own personal website that within minutes of the unveiling crashed due to too much traffic flow. Yikes!
Bruni’s website is said to be a site in which people can get a glimpse into her life in France in the Elysee Palace with husband Nicolas Sarkozy. In addition, visitors can learn more about this “ultimate modern woman” who shares the charity work that she is involved with.
A biography on her page describes Bruni as such, “In many places in the world, when you happen to hear the name ‘Carla’ come up in conversation, there is a good chance that they are referring to Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. … The past two years have been the stage for events that are at least as noteworthy [as appearing in a school play as a child]. This exposure to the cameras in life-and-death situations is unavoidable for anyone who has to face history with a cool head and a smile on their lips.”
Perhaps the crash had to do with Bruni’s already popular Internet presence? Nude scandal, anyone?
