It is that time of year again when we start thinking about the holidays. Well maybe not, but marketers do. American Idol alum David Archuleta is preparing to release a Christmas album this year and we’ve got a special preview for you.
Great news for you David Archuleta fans out there! David will be releasing his very first holiday album titled Christmas From The Heart on October 13th, 2009. Sure, it may be a tad early, but this could be one album you will not want to pass up.
If you are into traditional Christmas music, Archuleta’s album is sure to satisfy as David includes “O Holy Night”, “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Silent Night” as part of the traditional lineup. In addition to those songs, there is also a Spanish tune titled “Riu Chiu” that will touch the heart and warm the soul.
An incredible duet of I’ll Be Home for Christmas with up-and-comer Charice Pempengco is also featured on Christmas From The Heart.

I pre-ordered David’s Christmas album as soon as it was listed on Amazon, long before the track list was posted! I can’t wait to hear the whole album especially Riu Riu Chiu and everything else! BTW @DavidArchie today gave his 240,000 Twitter followers a blow by blow of having all of his wisdom teeth pulled including a pre-dentist video blog and an in-the-chair photo. Between that event and the Christmas audio clips release it has been a crazy ride for Archuleta fans today! Proud to be a fan of this humble, honest, caring and funny guy. Oct 13 can’t come soon enough!

those are only snippets of the songs and they sound beautiful! I just can imagine how exquisite the whole album is! I can’t wait to listen to to it. David’s heavenly and gorgeous voice makes each song special and beautiful; I’m excited for “Melodies of Christmas”, song written by David and his dad. Only a few days left to listen to this work of art! David Archuleta is simply THE BEST!

What a beautiful combination, David’s voice and tradional Christmas songs we all cherish. This is one CD I will probably wear out from listening to it over and over. He is simply the best out there in the music world. Not only for his moving voice but his character is so caring, humble, and loving.

He’s got a great voice for this type of music.I think if you’re a person who likes traditional Christmas music this will be a must have for your collection.I just heard he’s doing a charity concert w/Katy Perry in the Philippines…proceeds to the red cross. I’ll support this guy who always gives back.
