What about forgive and forget? In a Vanessa Hudgens’ Allure cover and interview, she addresses the photo scandal that seemingly follows her every move. The High School Musical talent just wants to grow up!
Vanessa Hudgens, the innocent High School Musical girl is begging for acceptance and desperately wants to grow up like everyone else in the world. She is a big girl wanting bigger and better roles for herself.
In an interview with Allure magazine, Vanessa Hudgens has high hopes of forgetting the photo scandal and has plans of seeking more mature roles in the industry. Being only 20, it’s clearly hard to imagine Hudgens in a film like Zorro featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider, or Halle Berry’s Monster’s Ball film, however, during Hudgens’ interview with Allure, her undying request for more of an adult role is obviously distorted due to her continuous discussion about Disney “princess” movies.
According to Eonline, it reports that Hudgens says that the photo scandal was very unfortunate and that people still express hatred given the circumstances. She states how frustrating it is when asked to do nudity in a film and how uncomfortable and embarrassed she feels when she declines a role because of the visually scandalous photos that surfaced.
It is said that in 2007, naked pictures, including one full-frontal nude shot of Hudgens had surfaced online. Hudgens offered an apology publicly and moved forward from the alleged scandal. But as the photos followed, so did another set of nude pictures that went public via internet in August. Hudgens feels that she has been publicly scrutinized in a media frenzy in this private, yet violating experience and hopes that this will be an example set for others. The rest if just open for matter of opinion. Share with us your thoughts on this situation. Here are photos and a timeline from her Allure cover and interview.
