Goodbye Chris Sligh, goodbye from “American Idol”. Videos, biography, and photo below. We’d give you more Chris Sligh photos, but he won’t fit easily into the picture if you catch my drift.
Now now, that’s a little mean. I think of the singers left on American Idol, he actually has one of the best voices. But good voices don’t count among the incompetent idiots who waste their time voting for a reality show. Sanjaya stayed, of course, which makes us all look the more ridiculous.

More on Sligh is here.
Here is a biography of Chris Sligh.
Chris Sligh lived in Germany with his family for a decade, but now resides in Greenville, South Carolina. Chris is 28 years old and both of his parents are missionaries. He auditioned in Birmingham for season 6 of American Idol and he impressed the judges with his rendition of Seal’s “Kiss From a Rose and his good sense of humor. He started singing when he was in high school and toured with a band after studying at Bob Jones University. He came short of getting a degree in vocal performance. Unlike many other Idol Contestants, he doesn’t do anything special before each performance; he just makes sure he visits the bathroom. He claims to be a “great kisser, but can also cut it as a songwriter. He listens to Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, Freddie Mercury and Paul McCartney. Chris is happily married.
