It was a sight to be seen on the season opener of The Oprah Winfrey Show. In celebration of the talk show host’s 24th season, The Black Eyed Peas performed their hit song “I Got A Feeling” with a bit of a twist, one that will be talked about for years!
Sure it was very cool and entertaining that The Black Eyed Peas would perform for such an exciting event, I mean c’mon 24 years is nothing to sneeze at! But what turned out to be a Flash Mob dance enthralled all of those who were in attendance and viewers alike.
It started out with one, lonely fan shaking her behind and doing her thing. But, what started as one turned into one synchronized dance that included participation by 21,000 people. Yes, 21,000!
It’s referred to as a FlashMob and this one was the biggest one recorded in history. Leave it to Oprah to be setting records and taking names! It’s one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time.
For an event as such, Oprah had to shut down a significant stretch of the Magnificent Mile in Chicago to shoot this particular episode.
