Kate Gosselin’s book, “Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories,” which promised “an inside look at one of America’s most close-knit families,” was anticipated by friend and foe alike. Christian publisher Zonder van plans to work with the single mother to reassess the schedule for her next book.
Postponing or canceling the book will hurt both Kate and the publisher, but the date was set before the Gosselin family fell apart. Jon and Kate are now in the middle of a divorce, and “Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories” just doesn’t seem fitting for a book title at this point in their lives. They are not the picture perfect family they once seemed to be.
Kate’s book features Kate’s favorite recipes and tips for eating organic also features “meaningful mealtime blessings.”

Kate Gosselin has no business writing this book or any other! Don’t waste your money on her books–it only feeds into her already huge ego! She needs to start reading other people’s self help books.

A new title is definitely called for. She is a good mom who in my opinion didn’t deserve any of this. It seems to me that Jon is overwhelmed and trying to get some of his youth back. Her books are great and helpful to many. Don’t come down on her so hard.

The whole situation is sad. Kate is controlling but can you imagine… having six little ones suddenly and watching them struggle with development problems in the hospital. She is probably a germaphob due to knowing her children could have gotten seriously ill from contamination due to the premature births. The controlling issues I can imagine are worsen with camera’s, perhaps more issues with the husband than we see (my husband can be a selfish person, but when we get company he is an angel and I look like the whiner) also to mention keeping 8 children on track. Everyone is a bit controlling and has an OCD in them one one thing or another, Kate’s is the household.

Looking at the prior comment I am rethinking my stance on Kate. I too realize that my husband acts way differenly around company too and I am left looking like a fool because I am not being fake. I wonder if John is being fake in front of the cameras. I am remembering a couple of times on the camera, the children mentioning John yelling a lot yet I don’t recall him yelling while the camera’s are rolling. The whole family needs to take a break, but they did mention that the whole family takes a vote whether to continue with another season or not. I think TLC should stop the series and should have at leave provided counceling for this couple.

It’s a sad case of money taking over their lives. Instead of chancing the fame they should have pulled out and worked on their marriage. I get the feeling that Kate was the one who didn’t want to do this. On the episode last night you can see them progressing to where they are now. I’m afraid the ones who will suffer the most is Cara and Mady. Kate needs to stop this frenzy before it gets worse!! She should be able to live from the income her books generate.

Of course they should change the cover and add another page just telling about the changes and how important it is to watch for the little things and to watch for an upcoming book on coping with change or something of the sort. But yes, publish the book. It’s not her fault that her pitiful “look at me; the victim” husband decided he wanted out. It’s got to be tough and you have to be strong and he seems to be neither. He is such a disappointment but don’t you expect a mother of 8 to be somewhat controlling or they would have chaos? While I did not like the way Kate talked to him; would we always be proud of our tone if we had to listen to it on some TV show either? The honest among us would say no-not too proud.

is all i have to do is knock some girl up and her have sextuplets then people will be following me around snapping my photo and begging me for an interview? who the hell cares about these people? why is this crap important? i cannot figure it out for my life. If you buy this book or read up on the latest news every day then you are a bigger moron than they are. there is nothing in this world i care about less than these people because i dont know them. im tired of this BS being publicized.

Why would anyone buy a book from someone who has lied for the past two years while receiving emormous amounts of money, living in a million dollar home, and pretending to care about their fan base. Kate has destroyed her family for the love of money.

I like Kate! I don’t think she is as bad as everyone thinks. Anyone who says they would not take 3 million a year to have cameras following your life is just kidding themselves, they just don’t know the repercussions that go along with the cameras. It is easy for all of us to sit back and say we wouldn’t, shouldn’t, couldn’t. Don’t judge people!!!

Kate may be controlling but I see alot of stress, which makes her bossy. What would you be like if you took care of 8 young children each day. I fault her only for not following her faith or leaning on God during this difficult time. She may claim she is, but being of the same demonination as her, I know we are pretty much against posing for the cameras in slinky bikinis. Very disappointed in her for that.
As for John, he has started thinking with something other than his head. John don’t blame Kate because your wanting to party down (among other things) with other women. Man up and just tell the truth that you have a lust and trust issue.
My question to both are Who do you think will ever want you for keeps? You both have 8 children. Thats alot to take on from anyone other than the parents.
