Jon and Kate have both been in the public eye for quite sometime now, and towards the end of season four of their TLC reality show, allegations of affairs and rumors of divorce plagued the couple. The troubles landed them on the covers of multiple tabloids.

Now, TLC has released a video promo for Monday’s episode in which Jon and Kate have an announcement. Searches for Jon and Kate announcement spoiler have bombarded the net, as the build up is too much to take. Several sources claim that a Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce is the announcement, and RadarOnline cites that they have exclusive information verifying the divorce rumors. According to Radar, Kate met with a divorce lawyer and Jon will file papers next week.

We have witnessed the unraveling of their marriage via their hit reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, and on the cover of several tabloids. In a huge telltale sign of marital problems, Jon and Kate spent their 10th anniversary apart. Kate also vacationed with the sextuplets in North Carolina without Jon, while Jon spent Kate’s birthday in Utah allegedly with Deanna Hummel, the teacher he was rumored to have an affair with.

Whether the allegations of affairs are valid, there are definitely some serious issues going on, and Jon and Kate are the first to admit it. In the June 22 promo video Kate says,

“Recently we’ve made some life-changing decisions that will affect every member of our family–ones that we hope will bring each of us some peace.”
