Her latest UK music video for her hit LoveGame is causing all kinds of stir in the UK. In fact, record execs have banned the song from being her third UK single and will release Paparazzi instead. Read more and watch the music video for LoveGame and see the lyrics here!
The song she recorded is edgy and sexy, like Gaga herself is. The video was banned for having ”frequent verbal and visual sexual references.” GaGa repeats the sexual innuendo “I wanna take a ride on your disco stick” several times, and she has a very provocative scene, in which she lays back, opens wide, and shows one of her dancers her lack of disco stick, so to speak.
LoveGame is another chart topper, hitting both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the US Billboard Pop 100 at No. 6, Australian ARIA Singles Chart at No.4, and several top 100 charts.
Australia has also censored the single, and gave ‘LoveGame’ an M rating. Videos must be rated either G or PG to appear on Video Hits. Video Hits producer Ben Fletcher said,
“It’s pretty rare we get a pop clip that’s sexual to the point there’s almost no way we can edit it without destroying the original intent of the video.”
